We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Technician to join our team at Prosper Pet Clinic. The ideal candidate should have a passion for animal care and possess the necessary skills to assist in providing high-quality veterinary services. This is a Full Time position.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist veterinarians in routine examinations, treatments and surgical procedure
- Conduct X-rays and assist in diagnostic procedures
- Provide compassionate animal restraint during examinations and treatments
- Maintain accurate medical records for all patients
- Educate pet owners on proper animal care and treatment protocols
-Must be expereinced and proficient in drawing blood and placing IV Catheters
-Maintain an organized and clean environment in the hospital
Requirements:
- Knowledge of veterinary medical terminology and procedures
- Strong communication skills with both pet owners and team members
- Ability to handle and restrain animals safely and compassionately
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Reliable
Experienced Vet Technicians are encouraged to apply!
At least 2-years Veterinary experience working in a Veterinary hospital is required.
Pay is based on experience
4 day work weeks! We are open Monday - Thursday.
Closed Friday- Sunday- 3 day weekends - every week!
