Food Service Worker:
Assists with daily food production including food prep, baking, ware washing, cleaning, sanitizing serving and running a cash system while adhering to all company policies and procedures. This position will involve working in multiple kitchens at the same address. This is a full time (40 hours), year-round position. This position will require alternate weekends, some holidays. Ability to work flexible hours is a plus. Must be available 10am-6:30pm, or 6:00am - 2:30pm Opportunities for overtime may be available from time to time.
Responsibilities:
- Follow food safety requirements such as washing, preparation and storage of foods.
- Ensures the food prep area and kitchen are clean and sanitized at the end of your shift.
- Follows basic recipes desserts and other foodstuffs.
Qualifications & Skills
- 12-month position
- High school diploma/GED required, able to read and write in English.
- Able to read and follow standardized recipes.
- Strong knowledge of proper food handling procedures.
- Must be willing and able to work as part of a team in a busy kitchen environment.
- Possess strong knife, slicer and ware washing skills.
- 2 years or more food service experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.50 - $17.00 per hour
