RIGHT OF WAY PROJECT COORDINATOR
Location: Minnesota – Project Based
Employment Type: Full-Time
Starting Salary Range: $55,000–$65,000 annually
About the Position
ProSource Land Services is seeking an exceptionally organized Right of Way Project Coordinator to support a major multi-year natural gas pipeline right of way program in Minnesota.
This position is the administrative and information-control center of the project team. The Project Coordinator will work directly with the Project Manager, field acquisition staff and client representatives to ensure that parcel information, agreements, correspondence, payments, reports and project records remain accurate and current.
This is an important project-delivery position, not a general administrative assistant role.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the project's parcel and landowner tracking system.
- Enter and verify acquisition status information provided by field personnel.
- Track agreements from preparation through execution, payment and final filing.
- Maintain electronic parcel files using established naming and documentation standards.
- Prepare recurring acquisition and project-status reports.
- Track outstanding assignments, commitments and required follow-up.
- Coordinate document routing between field personnel, project management and the client.
- Assist with landowner correspondence and acquisition-document preparation.
- Track damage agreements and payments.
- Support condemnation file assembly and document control.
- Track appraisal, survey, title and exhibit requests.
- Assist with weekly project meetings and action-item tracking.
- Identify missing information or inconsistent parcel records and pursue resolution.
- Support construction ROW records, complaints, commitments, damages and releases as the project moves into construction.
- Assist with final parcel and project closeout.
Qualifications
Required:
- At least 3 years of project coordination, right of way administration, real estate administration, document control or comparable project-support experience.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook skills.
- Ability to work effectively with databases and electronic document-management systems.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and follow issues through completion.
- Comfortable working directly with field staff, project managers and client representatives.
- Ability to handle confidential landowner and project information appropriately.
Preferred:
- Right of way, title, real estate, utility or pipeline experience.
- Experience with parcel-based project tracking systems.
- Experience processing acquisition agreements or real estate documentation.
- Familiarity with easements, legal descriptions or title documentation.
What Success Looks Like
The right person notices when something does not match, follows up when information is missing and does not assume someone else will take care of it.
This position requires someone who takes ownership of project information and understands that accurate records are essential to successful acquisition, condemnation, construction and closeout.
Compensation and Benefits
The anticipated starting salary range is $55,000 to $65,000 annually, based on directly relevant experience and qualifications.
