Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Forklift Operator (Stand-up/Sit-down) to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely operating heavy equipment to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse. Your expertise in warehouse distribution, order picking, and materials handling will ensure smooth operations and efficient shipping and receiving processes. Duties
- Safely operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts to load, unload, and transport goods within the warehouse.
- Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems to accurately pick, pack, and process orders.
- Assist with order picking using <PERSON> pickers and other heavy equipment such as clamp trucks and pallet jacks.
- Load and unload shipments efficiently while adhering to OSHA safety standards.
- Conduct routine inspections of forklifts and heavy equipment to ensure mechanical integrity.
- Support shipping & receiving activities by organizing materials for dispatch or storage.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize inventory management and materials handling workflows.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating forklifts (stand-up/sit-down) in a warehouse or construction setting.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse distribution, order picking, and heavy equipment operation.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations related to forklift operation and materials handling.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic maintenance checks on equipment.
- Experience using RF scanners, warehouse management systems, and other logistics technology.
- Ability to lift heavy loads safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly.
- Must pass a criminal Background check
- Must pass a Drug Test
- Warehouse experience including shipping & receiving, crane operation, and pallet jack handling is highly desirable. Join our team today! Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
