As a Java Software Architect this position will work on development initiatives, responsible for shaping the overall architecture and setting technical direction for the team.
Job Activities:

Design, architect, and develop various server components for state of the art enterprise service using Java, J2EE, APIs and Web Services.

Deep understanding of current server technologies such as dependency injection and other server features.

Lead and provide technical solutions for the entire server-side structure and manage overall project scopes completion for enterprise clients

Lead and provide scoping for technical requirements

Lead and mentor team members
-
Work across a wide range of platforms insulting system software, databases, web applications using Agile methodologies.

Work with other development teams to ensure end to end architectural, functional and protocol; consistency
Skills and Experience:
-
Strong experience building Java Servers
-
BS in Computer Science or related field, MS a plus
-
Eight (8) plus years designing and implementing business solutions using Java-based, server-side technologies including J2EE, JMS, XML, etc.

Strong Java, C++, debugging skills, ability to organize and write clean code

Strong Server profiling experience to build scalable and performance servers

Experience with data encryption and security

Experience developing on multiple platforms such as Linux, and Windows

Experience with Oracle and MySQL
-
A passion for working in start-up environments
