We are growing and are in need of a FULL-TIME physical therapist assistant to work in an outpatient clinic in Cuero TX. We are seeking a flexible happy individual to complete our team. Does this sound like you?
Our therapist needs to be a self-motivated, very organized individual with a degree in physical therapy assistant from an APTA-accredited physical therapy assistant program.
Individual must have a current TX state license in good standing with the Texas State Board of Physical Therapy. We are looking for FULL TIME therapist for our Cuero TX facility
Duties and responsibilities will include:
Promote and maintain health by providing physical therapy services under the supervision of a physical therapist.
Administer treatment programs for patients based physical therapist evaluation.
Perform therapeutic procedures by administering manual exercises and instructing, encouraging, and assisting patients in performing physical activities, such as non-manual exercises, ambulatory functional activities, and daily-living activities.
Actively participating in ongoing marketing strategies to ensure the health of our practice.
Help patients in using supportive devices, such as crutches, canes, and prostheses.
Maintain legal, ethical and accreditation compliance by adhering to policy positions concerning federal, state, and local regulations and standards.
Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading periodicals, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
Willingly participating in community events to help promote our practice.
Being a proactive member of our team, bringing proposed solutions to any problems that may arise.
Helping foster a professional environment that is friendly and welcoming to everyone.
Displaying a willingness to go above and beyond to ensure each patient’s satisfaction.
Traveling in personal or company car to patient homes within designated distance from clinics.
Compensation for this position depends on experience.
License or certification: Texas PTA license (Required)
