Duties & Responsibilities:
Operate dual/quad fork lift in fast paced warehousing environment
Establish and maintain a good relationship with customer and internal associates
Operate forklift in a safe working manner that is in compliance with OSHA and CTPS standards
Responsible for filling out safety checklists on time and with accuracy
Work in accordance with a quality system that is compliant with CTPS standard and in compliance with SQF standard
Can lift 55 lbs. consistently throughout the day
Establish an effective line of communication with peers and management
Perform a clean as you go method on production floor and good housekeeping practices
Skills and Knowledge preferred:
Knowledge of transport packaging and production-based warehouse environment
Food safety knowledge
Knowledge of 5s lean manufacturing
Ability to operate forklift in fast paced environment and obtain forklift certifications
Able to perform in a fast-paced work environment while multi-tasking
Able to perform effective verbal communication between associates and customers
Job Requirements:
At least 2 years previous warehouse experience in a fast-paced warehousing environment
At least 2 years previous forklift experience in a fast-paced warehousing environment
Ability to provide an effective line of communication
Pay: $20.00 - $20.01 per hour
