Large Press Operator
Location: Carrollton, TX
Shifts: 1st and 2nd shift
Salary: $30 - $40 an hour
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Large Press Operator to join our team, operating a Komori Lithrone (640) press. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and dedicated to producing high-quality print products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain Komori presses to ensure optimal performance and quality.
- Set up press runs, including loading paper, adjusting ink flow, and ensuring proper registration.
- Monitor printing processes and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality standards.
- Regular maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize downtime and ensure efficient operation.
- Collaborate with the production team to meet project deadlines and customer specifications.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the press area.
- Adhere to safety protocols and company policies at all times.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of printing processes, color management, and quality control.
- Experience with cold foil printing is a plus but not required.
- Ability to read and interpret job orders and technical specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
