Second Wind IV Therapy is a physician-directed wellness lounge located inside The Shops at Mohegan Sun. We combine personalized wellness services with an upscale hospitality experience designed to help every guest feel comfortable, cared for, and confident in their visit.
We are seeking a polished, dependable, and service-oriented Front Desk Concierge to serve as the first and last point of contact for our guests. This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, comfortable with technology, confident discussing services, and capable of delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
This is not a traditional medical receptionist position. The right candidate will bring together the professionalism of a healthcare office, the attentiveness of luxury hospitality, and the confidence of a high-end retail environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Welcome every guest promptly and professionally
- Create a warm, polished, and attentive arrival experience
- Check clients in and out using our electronic scheduling and medical-record system
- Confirm that required intake forms, consents, and appointment information are complete
- Schedule appointments and assist guests with future bookings
- Answer incoming phone calls, text messages, and general service inquiries
- Clearly explain available services, packages, upgrades, and membership options within the limits of the role
- Help guests select appropriate appointment types without providing medical advice
- Process payments accurately and maintain proper cash-handling procedures
- Communicate appointment arrivals and scheduling needs to the nursing and telehealth teams
- Monitor appointment flow and keep guests informed of delays
- Maintain client privacy and follow HIPAA requirements
- Keep the reception, waiting, and retail areas clean, organized, and guest-ready
- Restock front-desk supplies, retail items, beverages, and guest materials
- Assist with opening and closing procedures
- Complete daily logs, checklists, inventory notifications, and administrative tasks
- Address guest concerns calmly and professionally and involve management when appropriate
- Follow all Second Wind IV Therapy and Mohegan Sun operating, security, parking, access, and workplace policies
Guest Service and Sales Expectations
The Front Desk Concierge should be comfortable speaking confidently about Second Wind’s services and helping guests understand available options.
This includes:
- Identifying opportunities to schedule future visits
- Explaining service packages and available upgrades
- Introducing injectable wellness services and other offerings
- Supporting promotional programs and special events
- Making appropriate recommendations based on the guest’s stated interests
- Encouraging repeat visits without using aggressive sales tactics
- Never making medical claims or offering clinical advice
Success in this role requires the ability to be welcoming and personable while remaining efficient, accurate, and professional.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least one year of experience in hospitality, medical reception, spa services, wellness, concierge services, luxury retail, or a related customer-facing position
- Experience with appointment scheduling, electronic records, point-of-sale systems, or customer-management software
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Professional appearance and polished interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures
- Comfortable discussing pricing, services, packages, and upgrades
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and protect private client information
- Ability to remain calm and courteous during busy periods
- Dependable attendance and reliable transportation
- Comfortable working independently while also supporting a clinical team
- Familiarity with Jane App or another electronic scheduling or medical-record platform is helpful but not required
- Previous experience at a medical spa, wellness center, hotel, resort, casino, upscale salon, or luxury retail business is strongly preferred
Schedule Requirements
Second Wind IV Therapy operates Thursday through Sunday. Applicants must be available for a combination of daytime, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts based on business needs.
Current operating hours are:
- Thursday: 10:00 a.m.–10:00 p.m.
- Friday: 10:00 a.m.–10:00 p.m.
- Saturday: 9:00 a.m.–10:00 p.m.
- Sunday: 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Shifts may include opening or closing responsibilities. Consistent weekend availability is required.

- Avoid discussing private client information in public areas

- Follow all workplace safety, sanitation, emergency, and security procedures
- Represent Second Wind IV Therapy professionally while inside Mohegan Sun
Physical Requirements
This position may require:
- Sitting or standing for extended periods
- Frequent use of a computer, tablet, telephone, and payment system
- Moving throughout the lounge to assist guests and staff
- Reaching, bending, and lifting supplies weighing up to approximately 25 pounds
- Maintaining an organized reception and retail area throughout the shift
