Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cold Spray Technician to operate and maintain advanced industrial cold spray systems used to develop and qualify next-generation metal powder feedstocks and manufacturing processes. Cold spray is an emerging manufacturing technology capable of producing high-performance metal coatings and additively manufactured components for critical applications. The ideal candidate is a hands-on individual who enjoys building and solving technical challenges in a fast-paced team environment. This role involves day-to-day operation of large industrial robotic cold spray systems, generating test coupons and technical data, supporting process and application development, and collaborating closely with engineers to generate the results needed to transition new materials and applications into production. This position is based at our Webster, Massachusetts facility, Monday through Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Must be a US Person according to FAR22 CFR 120.15 - US Person
- Operate industrial cold spray systems.
- Set up, fixture, and mask components for spray tasks.
- Perform routine maintenance on cold spray machinery.
- Maintain accurate documentation for spray operations.
- Use hand and power tools to prepare components for spray project preparation and finishing.
- Prepare metallic materials for evaluation through metallographic polishing.
- Program 6-axis industrial robots to perform spray tasks.
- Perform testing on metallic materials with a mechanical load frame.
- Equipment troubleshooting and repair.
- Apply technical, mechanical, or material experience to improve system operations.
- Work on-site 5 days a week at our Webster, MA facility.
Qualifications
- Vocational training in a relevant field (such as thermal spray, machining, robotics, automotive, etc.) or >3 years of relevant job experience.
- Experience with operation of 6-axis industrial robots such as Fanuc, ABB, Motoman.
- Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
- Previous forklift experience is a plus.
- Experience in welding, fabrication, plumbing, and/or machining is a plus.
- Any other trade experience is a plus.

Experience Level:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associates degree or >3 years of relevant job experience.
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
