Mosaic Venue is seeking an experienced, charismatic, and dynamic Beverage Operations Lead to oversee beverage operations during weddings, corporate events, and private celebrations. This is a working leadership role, meaning the Beverage Operations Lead serves alongside the bar or beverage team during every assigned event while also providing leadership, coaching, and operational oversight.
This position is ideal for an experienced bartender or hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced event environment, is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences through kindness and positivity, and has leadership skills centered in compassion and empathy.
Responsibilities
- Lead beverage operations during events, ensuring efficient, high-quality service.
- Work alongside the bar team by actively serving guests throughout each assigned event.
- Prepare and batch signature cocktails to recipe specifications.
- Assist with bar setup, breakdown, inventory, and organization.
- Maintain organization and inventory control in all beverage areas as assigned by the Beverage Operations Director.
- Complete scheduled weekday or evening administrative and operational shifts designed to proactively prepare the beverage program for upcoming events. Duties may include restocking storage areas, deep cleaning, organizing inventory, equipment maintenance, venue organization, and other hands-on operational tasks that set the team up for success.
- Coach, support, and lead bartending staff throughout events while maintaining a supportive and positive environment.
- Maintain beverage quality, cleanliness, and operational standards.
- Train new team members and provide feedback to leadership.
- Support beverage tastings, menu execution, and continuous improvement of the beverage program.
Qualifications
- Previous bartending and leadership experience required.
- Strong knowledge of beer, wine, spirits, and classic cocktails.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively and calmly under pressure.
- Demonstrated ability to lead with empathy, professionalism, and compassion.
- Proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop team members with varying levels of experience and beverage knowledge.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be dependable and committed to working all scheduled Beverage Operations Lead shifts once the monthly schedule is published.
- Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
- Must posses the ability to communicate calmly and professionally with leadership at all times

- Monthly schedules are published in their entirety at least 10 days before the start of each month, allowing team members to plan well in advance.
- Leadership understands the importance of work-life balance and makes every reasonable effort to accommodate time-off requests. To ensure proper staffing, time-off requests must be submitted no later than one week before the following month's schedule is released.
