Seeking part time janitorial cleaner. Monday - Friday with day and early evenings available. Various locations near downtown Norfolk and downtown Portsmouth. Seeking applicants with availability ranging from 10-30 hours per week.
Summary: Responsible for cleaning common areas of condominium & apartment buildings. Common areas include lobby, hallways, stairs, elevators, fitness rooms, restrooms, etc. Primary tasks include vacuuming and mopping with high attention to detail.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Vacuuming
- Mopping
- Cleaning bathrooms, elevators and removing trash
- Dusting
Qualifications:
- Must walk for extended periods of time, climb stairs, bend and kneel down
- Must also be able to carry and operate backpack vacuum (10lbs)
- Must have an eye for detail and an attitude of going the extra mile for excellent customer service
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Cleaning experience a plus but not required. Applicants with no janitorial experience but a strong work history will be considered
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
