JOB SUMMARY
NURVYX is seeking dependable, technically capable Authorized Field Service Technicians (AFSTs) to support the installation, inspection, maintenance, and service of NURVYX commercial charging equipment at customer locations.
This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity with assignment-based compensation, not an hourly or salaried position.
AFSTs receive qualifying field-service assignments within their service area and are responsible for completing assigned work professionally, safely, and according to NURVYX installation and service standards.
This opportunity is ideal for someone who is mechanically or technically inclined, comfortable troubleshooting equipment, works well independently, and takes pride in completing clean, professional work at commercial customer locations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Complete assigned NURVYX equipment installations at commercial customer locations.
- Perform pre-installation site and equipment verification as required.
- Verify equipment placement and site readiness before completing installation work.
- Assemble, position, connect, and configure NURVYX equipment according to approved installation procedures.
- Perform post-installation testing to verify proper equipment operation.
- Complete preventive maintenance and scheduled service assignments.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot basic equipment, connectivity, power, cable, and operational issues.
- Complete approved equipment repairs, component replacements, relocations, removals, or other field-service assignments as authorized.
- Take and submit required installation and service photographs.
- Maintain accurate documentation for completed installations, maintenance, and service activity.
- Communicate assignment status, site conditions, equipment issues, and additional service needs to NURVYX Operations.
- Provide customers with basic equipment-use information when appropriate.
- Maintain a professional appearance and conduct while working at customer locations.
- Follow NURVYX safety, installation, documentation, and customer-service standards.
- Protect customer property and maintain a clean work area during and after service.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with field service, equipment installation, maintenance, technical service, repair, low-voltage equipment, electronics, telecommunications equipment, IT hardware, commercial equipment, or a related technical field is preferred.
- Strong mechanical and technical aptitude.
- Comfortable using basic hand tools and completing equipment assembly and installation tasks.
- Ability to follow written installation procedures, checklists, and technical instructions.
- Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to document completed work accurately.
- Comfortable using a smartphone or mobile device to access assignments, communicate with Operations, and submit photographs and service documentation.
- Ability to work independently at commercial customer locations.
- Professional communication and customer-service skills.
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel locally to assigned customer locations.
- Ability to safely perform the physical functions associated with equipment installation and field service.
- Reliable smartphone and internet/data access.
COMPENSATION
This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity with assignment-based compensation. It is not an hourly or salaried position.
AFSTs are compensated based on qualifying field-service assignments completed in accordance with the NURVYX AFST compensation schedule.
Current qualifying compensation opportunities include:
Standard Installation: $125 per completed qualifying installation.
After-Hours Service: $175 per qualifying assignment.
Emergency Service: $200 per qualifying assignment.
Preventive Maintenance: $225 per qualifying assignment.
Travel: An additional $35 may apply to qualifying assignments located 31–60 miles away.
Additional compensation may apply to other approved service assignments in accordance with the applicable NURVYX compensation schedule.
Assignment availability varies based on customer activity, installations, maintenance requirements, and service demand. No minimum number of assignments, hours, or earnings is guaranteed.

WORK ARRANGEMENT
This is a flexible, field-based independent contractor opportunity.
AFSTs travel to assigned commercial customer locations to perform approved installation and service work. Assignments are coordinated through NURVYX Operations based on customer needs, technician availability, service territory, and assignment requirements.
There is no traditional daily office schedule. Contractors are responsible for managing their availability while completing accepted assignments within required appointment windows and NURVYX service standards.
