Red Primesteak is OKC’s premier modern steakhouse - bold, refined, and elevated in every detail. Our space is as striking as our menu: modern, moody, and designed to impress. We’re looking for a polished and personable Host to support our front of house team. This role is ideal for someone with a sharp eye for detail and the ability to move with purpose in a fast-paced, fine-dining environment.
HOST POSITION SUMMARY:
Welcome and warmly greet guests upon arrival. Manage the efficient and timely seating of our guests to a table that best serves their wishes while keeping a smooth and orderly flow in the restaurant.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Warmly and graciously greet all guests upon arrival.
- Know restaurant standards, table numbers, wait sections, menu, specials, and be able to answer any question customers may have effectively.
- Take reservations and enter on OpenTable according to restaurant standards. Prompt customer for additional information and email whenever possible.
- Accommodate special seating requests for guests whenever possible.
- Relay messages to servers, bus, and manager as needed, especially guest notes from OpenTable.
- Help with bussing and drink service if time warrants.
- Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return.
- Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 6 hours).
- Be able to communicate clearly and effectively in the predominant language(s) of our guests.
- Must have exceptional grooming habits.
- Must be 21 or older due to responsibilities that include working in areas where alcohol is served
