Galleria Medical Pharmacy is seeking a highly motivated and skilled pharmacist to join our team. As a pharmacist with us, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for our customers. We are looking for an individual who is detail-oriented, has excellent communication skills, and is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently
Provide consultation and guidance to patients on the proper use of medications
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Conduct medication therapy management and review drug interactions
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Oversee the pharmacy's compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
Qualifications:
Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree
Valid state pharmacist license
Strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals and their indications, contraindications, and interactions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medications
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Familiarity with pharmacy computer systems and software (previous experience with PioneerRX is a plus)
Experience:
Previous experience in both retail and compounding pharmacies is highly encouraged
