Job Summary
We are seeking passionate and dedicated full time EEC Toddler Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. The position is Monday through Friday, 9am-5pm. All prospective candidates MUST have EEC Certification.
Responsibilities
- Engage with the children and show them love and compassion.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress, behavior, and any concerns.
- Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement strategies and effective behavior management techniques.
- Collaborate with other educators to create a cohesive learning experience across different subjects.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
Requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience in a licensed childcare setting is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with curriculum development and implementation strategies.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to manage classroom behavior positively and constructively.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive environment for all students.
