Duties
- Assist customers in selecting the perfect eyewear by understanding their needs, preferences, and lifestyle.
- Utilize EMR systems, and optical software to process sales, update medical records, and manage inventory efficiently.
- Provide advice on lens options and frame styles while ensuring adherence to health regulation policies such as HIPAA and clinical confidentiality policies.
- Perform laboratory tasks such as lens fitting, adjustments, and verifying prescriptions with precision.
Requirements
- Retail sales experience with a strong background in optical, ophthalmology and optometry setting.
- Knowledge of health regulation policies including HIPAA and state healthcare regulations.
- Familiarity with laboratory procedures related to lens fabrication and fitting.
- Experience working with EMR medical record platforms.
- Retail management skills including POS system operation, and inventory control are highly desirable.
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
