Job Opening: Educational Support Associate, Grand Rapids Store & Showroom

What You’ll Do:
Be a part of the musical journey of families all over West Michigan. We support individuals who come to our retail stores as well as entire school music programs and their directors.
- Interact with our families to help them select the best instrument and/or accessories for their musician.
- Provide an atmosphere where our families love to shop by ensuring products are displayed neatly, spaces are clean and maintained, and questions are readily answered.
- Contribute to Meyer Music’s mission of support for school music programs on the retail side by following workflows accurately and providing prompt communication with colleagues and customers.
What It Takes:
- Ability to provide top notch customer service– in person, online, and over the phone
- Some musical experience in a school music program and basic knowledge of band and/or orchestra instruments and accessories. We’re looking for people who love and appreciate the musical experience they had growing up, not necessarily professional musicians.
- Positive attitude and the willingness to learn a great deal about musical products to best help our families
- Orchestral music experience preferred but not required.
