Inventory Control Clerk - Food Processing

Position Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to read/write and interpret documents.
- General math skills.
- Ability to lift 50-70 lbs.
- Ability to work 9-10 hours (lifting, stacking, standing, etc...) This is a hands-on position working in warehouse and production areas counting and reconciling inventory.
- Possess leadership, teamwork, time management and good communication skills.
- Follow safety rules/regulations, company policies and food safety/quality procedures.
- Knowledge with computers, Word, Excel, etc.
- Safely operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts
- Have (3) or more years of experience working in Inventory Control, preferably in food processing or similar FDA/USDA regulated industries.
Position Overview:
· Perform daily inventory cycle counts.
· Breakdown/restack pallets.
· Organize warehouse and maintain cleanliness of work area.
· Receive all inbound material shipments and perform data entry into ERP system.
· Communicate with customers via email.
· Conduct Quarterly and Annual inventory counts.
· Conduct Saturday cycle counts, approximately 20-25 Saturday per year.
· Conduct duties in an environmentally responsible manner.
· Perform any other duties as assigned.
Job Type: Full-Time
1st Shift Mon – Fri: (6:00am – 4:00pm)
Hourly Rate:
$19/hour......or more depending on skills, ability and experience.
