Global Power Components is looking for a Brake Press Operator to run and maintain our Brake Press. We are a UL approved heavy gauge steel diesel fuel tank fabricator.
Core Responsibility:
- Operation and programming of the Press Brake
- Produce materials according to specifications
- Inspect materials produced for quality and conformance
- Correct any inconsistencies
- Cleaning of the machine and area surrounding the machine
- Maintenance of machine
Required:
- Cognizant of how different materials react to pressure, heat and shaping procedures
- Exemplary motor skills
- Good analytical and mathematical skills
- Able to read gauges and other measurement tools
- Able to use power tools
- Excellent organizational skills
- Computer literate
- Manufacturing experience
- Able to read blueprints
- Able to troubleshoot and problem solve
- Must be highly motivated
- Able to communicate and work well with others
- Must pass competency test and pre-employment physical including drug screen
Hours: 40-50 hours per week
For Consideration: We are looking for a dedicated team member that is detail oriented. Most people on our team average 45 to 65 hours per week. So, we are looking for a core fit into the team that can help make a positive difference. We have not listed an education requirement; however we will be asking several questions to verify that the responsibilities could be performed.
