Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to join our growing team. As an Assistant Property Manager, you will play a key role in managing residential properties, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, and providing outstanding service to our tenants. You will work closely with the Property Manager to maintain the property's value, enhance tenant satisfaction, and ensure compliance with all regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the management and upkeep of residential and/or commercial properties
- Handle tenant inquiries, maintenance requests, and lease renewals
- Assist in rent collection and accounts receivable management
- Coordinate property inspections, maintenance, and repair activities
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, building codes, and safety requirements
- Maintain accurate records for leases, tenant interactions, and property-related transactions
- Support marketing efforts for vacant units, including showings and advertising
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, documentation, and correspondence
Requirements:
- Previous experience in property management or real estate preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio, Buildium)
- Knowledge of local property laws and regulations is a plus
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
- Bilingual (English - Spanish)

Pay: $21.63 - $23.08 per hour
