We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Shift Supervisor to lead our team during critical operational hours. Responsibilities
- Supervise daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS system management
- Lead and motivate team members to deliver exceptional customer service and meet sales goals
- Oversee inventory management, stock replenishment, and merchandising to ensure product availability and presentation standards
- Coordinate employee scheduling, training, and development to optimize team performance
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
- Conduct interviewing, onboarding, and performance evaluations for new hires and existing staff
- Manage payroll processing, bookkeeping tasks, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Proven supervisory experience within the retail industry or similar fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of retail sales techniques, inventory control, POS systems, and cash handling procedures
- Excellent communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual abilities are a plus
- Demonstrated skills in negotiation, purchasing, and managing retail math calculations
- Experience in employee orientation, training & development, recruiting, and team management
- Familiarity with operational management tasks such as budgeting, merchandising, stock management, and pricing strategies
- Ability to multitask effectively with strong organizational skills and time management capabilities
- Basic math proficiency for daily financial transactions and inventory calculations
- Previous experience in grocery stores or similar retail sectors is advantageous
