Wholesale Sales Representative (Account Executive)
Location: Pennsauken, NJ
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday (On-Site)
Pay: 6 month salaried probationary period followed by uncapped commission
Job Description
We’re a family owned and operated wholesale distributor looking for a motivated Sales Representative to join our team. As a leading distributor in brand name closeouts for over fifty years, we’re expanding our team to support the current period of high growth and expansion.
In this role, you will take full ownership of the sales cycle. Collaborating closely with our Sales Manager and COO, you will drive revenue by sourcing new buyers, pitching inventory, and strategically growing existing accounts from pitch to ship. This role is ideal for a results-driven sales professional who thrives on building long-term business partnerships and maximizing their earning potential.
Responsibilities
- Drive New Business: Source, qualify, and onboard new wholesale customers through outbound calls, emails, and lead generation.
- Manage & Grow Accounts: Serve as the primary point of contact for accounts, consistently pitching new inventory, offer sheets, and buying opportunities to maximize order volume.
- Close Deals: Present opportunities to buyers, handle pricing negotiations, and close sales quickly to keep inventory moving and customers satisfied.
- Manage the Sales Cycle: Oversee your orders from initial pitch to final delivery, coordinating with the warehouse and office teams to ensure accurate picking, packing, and timely shipping.
- Inventory Expertise: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of available inventory and proactively alert key customers to high-demand merchandise.
- Maintain CRM Data: Keep records of customer communication, pipelines, and sales activity in our CRM/ERP system.
Qualifications
- Experience: Experience in inside sales, wholesale distribution, or account management (experience in closeouts or liquidation is a major plus).
- Closing Skills: Proven ability to make confident initial sales calls, handle negotiations, and close deals.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a strong phone presence.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel). Experience with CRM systems and ERP software (Odoo is a huge plus) is highly preferred.
- Detail-Oriented: Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple accounts and ensure order accuracy.
- Drive: Self-motivated, resilient, and eager to smash sales goals in a fast-paced environment.
