Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technician to join our team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing low voltage systems across various facilities to Include Security Systems, Fire Alarm systems, Video Surveillance and Access Cotrol. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge in Low Voltage systems, hands-on experience with service and equipment repair, and familiarity with schematics and computer networking. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in field service, mechanical knowledge, and low voltage systems to contribute to critical infrastructure projects while expanding their expertise in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair low voltage systems including security, fire alarm, data cabling, and communication networks
- Use hand tools and testing equipment such as ohmmeters to diagnose electrical issues
- Interpret schematics and technical diagrams to accurately perform installations and repairs
- Conduct routine maintenance on low voltage equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Assist with equipment upgrades and system enhancements as needed
- Perform system testing and ensure compliance with safety standards and codes
- Document work performed and maintain detailed service records
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely
Experience
- Proven experience as a service technician or in a similar field service role involving low voltage systems
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, equipment repair, and maintenance procedures
- Familiarity with computer hardware, networking concepts, and schematics is highly desirable
- Mechanical knowledge related to electrical systems installation and troubleshooting
- Ability to read electrical schematics and use testing devices such as ohmmeters effectively
- Prior experience working with low voltage wiring, security systems, or related infrastructure is required. 2 Plus years of low voltage experience is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills coupled with excellent attention to detail

Pay: $22.00 - $33.00 per hour
