Description:
Guardian Angel Homes is looking for compassionate, dependable Caregivers to join our Overnight team in Richland. As a member of our Overnight Staff, you’ll be working from 10 pm - 6 am on a 4 days on, 2 days off rotation, all while being part of a team committed to providing respectful, person-centered care to our residents.
What you'll do:

Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, mobility, and meals

Provide compassionate, person-centered care based on each resident’s individual needs

Support residents with dementia, cognitive or physical limitations, and those receiving end-of-life care

Safely assist residents with transfers, repositioning, and mobility
-
Properly use equipment such as wheelchairs, gait belts, and Hoyer lifts
-
Observe and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team

Accurately document resident care, activities, vital signs, and other required information
-
Work collaboratively with caregivers, nurses, and other team members to provide safe, high-quality care

Help maintain a comfortable, respectful, and supportive environment for our residents

Requirements:

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy care environment

Ability to safely lift, transfer, reposition, and assist residents

Ability to stand and remain active for extended periods

Ability to successfully complete required background screening

Active HCA, NAR, or CNA credential preferred, or obtain a certification within 365 days
-
Previous caregiving experience preferred

Memory care experience preferred
-
End-of-life care experience preferred
-
Current CPR and First Aid certification required

Current Food Handler’s Card required

Comply with all State regulations
