ProAmpac is currently looking for full-time, 3rd shift Lamination Operators to support our Elgin plant.
3rd Shift Hours: 8:45 pm to 5:15 am, Monday - Friday
Compensation: $20 - $28/hr DOE
Essential Duties and Tasks:
- Confer with Lamination Operator from previous shift regarding status of laminator operation.
- Prepare laminator for start-up subject to final approval. Preparation includes, ensuring that glue ratios are precise, cleaning of rollers and machine, to ensure no scratches are present.
- Complete all forms and reports in written English; complete Quality Control report for each roll of film produced.
- Report any equipment or material problems to Supervisor immediately for prompt correction of problem.
- Participate in general clean-up for following shift change.
- Clean each roll rack before it leaves your work area.
- Responsible for all In Process Inspection, communicating any possible defects to downstream processes.
- Report any hazard or safety violations to Print Supervisor.

- Basic mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to mechanically lift heavy loads in a safe way.
- Good communication skills in the English language (reading, writing, listening, and speaking).
