Overview
Bucks County Opportunity Council is seeking a confident, detail-oriented and compassionate Intake Specialist to join our client services center. The Intake Specialist gathers documentation , determines program eligibility, and plays a vital role in supporting Bucks County residents to achieve and maintain economic self-sufficiency.

Responsibilities~
- Answers live phone calls to assist people in community.
- Answers and screens inquiry calls, emails and web inquiries from prospective clients and community partners.
- Assist clients with navigation to appropriate internal programs and connect clients with community resources as needed.
- Work collaboratively with Bucks County Housing Link staff by receiving referrals and ensuring that clients experiencing a housing crisis receive non-judgmental, competent, compassionate services to resolve the housing crisis and prevent homelessness.
- Assist clients in stabilizing their housing crises through mediation and conflict resolution, administer financial assistance when appropriate, problem-solve and refer to related community services as appropriate.
- Support clients in creating and meeting goals which ensure housing stability.
- Maintain complete and accurate client files and case records including HMIS and CTS data entry.
- Empower clients to weigh and consider options, advocate for their own needs, and ultimately act on their own behalf.
- Complete follow-up case management.
- Maintain a housing first perspective.
- Assisting with special projects and events at the Quakertown office.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $41,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
