We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper to join our dynamic finance team. In this vital role, you will manage day-to-day financial transactions, ensure accurate record-keeping, and support compliance with accounting standards. Your expertise will help maintain the integrity of our financial data, facilitate smooth financial operations, and contribute to the overall health of our organization’s fiscal management. Responsibilities
- Record and reconcile all financial transactions accurately using industry-standard financial software.
- Maintain up-to-date accounts payable and receivable records, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
- Assist in the development of financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and relevant industry regulations governing financial reporting.
- Prepare detailed financial reports, statements, and analysis to support management decision-making.
- Monitor financial compliance by reviewing transactions for accuracy and adherence to internal controls and external regulations.
- Support audits by providing necessary documentation and ensuring all records are complete and organized.
Experience
- Proven experience in accounting or finance roles, with a strong understanding of bookkeeping functions.
- Familiarity with financial software such as QuickBooks, Gusto, Bill, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of GAAP standards and industry-specific financial regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and analyze financial models for various business needs.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analysis skills to identify discrepancies or irregularities.
- Experience ensuring compliance with financial policies and regulatory requirements is highly valued.

Pay: $27.50 - $30.00 per hour
