Our cashiers’ tasks include welcoming customers, accurately processing payments, providing receipts, and repair order documents.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome customers/visitors in a friendly and professional manner at the cashier window
- Promptly answer incoming phone calls and transfer to the relevant department or take and relay messages accurately
- Manage and record cash transactions, including collecting payment from customers and providing itemized receipts of their transactions
- Collaborate with other staff members and departments to ensure seamless customer service and efficient operations
- Computes customer bills
- Make change and issues receipts/invoices to customers
- Resolve customer issues and answer questions by partnering with the appropriate business partner
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with customers and coworkers
- Ability and comfort to multitask with strong attention to detail
- Basic knowledge of computer systems, including MS Office
- Punctual nature and ability to handle schedule flexibility and dynamic work environment
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Basic accounting knowledge
- Experience with CDK not required, but would be a great asset
- Valid driver’s license, satisfactory background check results, and clean driving record
Work Environment
This position works directly with the service, sales, and accounting departments inside the dealership as well as with the general public.
