Job Description
First Team Staffing is hiring a skilled and detail-oriented Roll-Fed Print Operator to join a fast-paced production team in Nashville, TN. This is a hands-on production role responsible for operating high-volume roll-fed printing equipment, managing multiple print jobs, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring production schedules are met. The ideal candidate will be organized, reliable, safety-conscious, and committed to producing high-quality work.
Pay: $23.00–$25.00 per hour (DOE)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Flexible Start Times: 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM or 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Overtime: Available, including occasional weekend and holiday work
Job Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain high-volume roll-fed printing equipment with consistency and accuracy.
- Manage multiple print jobs while maintaining production schedules and deadlines.
- Review job tickets and production data to verify accuracy before beginning production.
- Maintain strict quality standards and ensure finished products meet detailed customer specifications.
- Monitor printer performance and identify maintenance needs.
- Track material usage and production information.
- Troubleshoot equipment and production issues in coordination with IT teams and equipment vendors.
- Obtain required approvals before releasing completed print jobs.
- Keep job tracking systems accurate and up to date.
- Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and efficient production area.
- Follow all company safety and production procedures.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
- Ability to stand and perform physical production work throughout the shift.
- Ability to frequently bend, reach, stack, and move materials.
- Ability to safely operate pallet jacks.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position safely and consistently.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or 6–12 months of printing or production experience preferred.
- Previous experience operating production or printing equipment is a plus.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow job tickets, instructions, and production specifications accurately.
- Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
