Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 7:30 AM-4:30 PM & Friday, 8:00 AM-12:00 PM

Position Overview
As a Registered Nurse, you'll play an essential role in delivering high-quality care throughout the surgical experience. Working alongside physicians and a multidisciplinary clinical team, you'll help coordinate patient care, maintain efficient clinical workflows, and promote safe, positive outcomes using evidence-based practices.
Primary Responsibilities
Patient Care & Clinical Assessment
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, including vital signs and clinical documentation.
- Recognize abnormal findings and promptly communicate changes in patient condition.
- Develop, implement, and update individualized patient care plans during shift handoffs.
Surgical & Recovery Care
- Provide nursing care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
- Monitor, evaluate, and document patient responses throughout every phase of care.
Teamwork & Leadership
- Partner with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to support patient care goals.
- Provide guidance to clinical support staff while reinforcing established clinical protocols.
- Participate in staff meetings and continuing education opportunities.
Compliance & Professional Practice
- Follow facility policies, ethical standards, and evidence-based clinical guidelines.
- Complete additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications
Required
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
Preferred
- Ambulatory Surgery Center experience
- Pain Management experience
- Athena EHR experience
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- CPAN certification
Skills & Physical Requirements
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
- Knowledge of patient assessment and evidence-based nursing practices.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office or comparable software.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and push up to 300 pounds.
- Ability to perform fine motor tasks with clear vision and depth perception.
