Duties
- Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, rent collection, and maintenance coordination
- Oversee lease or rental agreement management, ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations and landlord-tenant law.
- Utilize property management tools to track occupancy, financials, and maintenance requests.
- Conduct regular property inspections and coordinate facilities management to maintain high standards of safety and appearance.
- Handle client communication with professionalism via phone, email, and in person, resolving issues promptly and effectively.
- Manage conflict resolution among tenants or staff with tact and professionalism, fostering a positive community environment.
- Prepare budgets, financial reports, and compliance documentation related to LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) programs and other funding sources
Experience
- Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles with a strong understanding of lease management and tenant relations
- Familiarity with property management software
- Knowledge of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, Section 8 housing programs, LIHTC compliance, and related legal frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong customer service skills combined with negotiation expertise to upsell amenities or lease options when appropriate
- Office experience including data entry, filing, contracts management, and using Microsoft Office Suite for reporting purposes
- Facilities management experience covering property maintenance coordination and vendor oversight
- Excellent conflict management skills paired with professional phone etiquette to handle sensitive situations diplomatically
- Light Maintenance Work
- Ability to Lift 35lb.
- High School Dipolma
