We are currently seeking a CTRS certified Recreation therapist to work as an independent contractor. The population that we service are children, teen and adults that are diagnosed with Intellectual Developmental Disabilities (IDD) and mental/ emotional disorders . Therapist will provide and explore structured leisure activities in a 1:1 setting, in the home as well as the community. The right candidate will be a self starter, have reliable transportation, and possess a caring and patient personality. The position is part time/ contractor; however there is potential to grow your hours over time.

- Perform evaluations to assess clients' strengths, needs and weaknesses and set measurable goals and objectives
- Plan, organize and facilitate structured therapeutic activities intended to improve physical, cognitive, emotional and social functioning.
- Document weekly, quarterly, and annual progress for clients' treatment plan.
- Maintain the highest standards of professional conduct and ethics.*
