Position Overview
The Laboratory Associate supports the production and quality control processes in our licensed cannabis manufacturing facility. This role combines laboratory techniques, analytical skills, and adherence to regulatory compliance to ensure product quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute standard operating procedures (SOPs) for cannabis extraction, refinement, and product formulation
- Perform quality control testing on raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products
- Maintain detailed documentation of all laboratory activities, including batch records and testing results
- Clean and maintain laboratory equipment according to established protocols
- Monitor environmental conditions in laboratory and storage areas
- Support method development and validation activities
- Assist in inventory management of laboratory supplies and materials
- Participate in internal audits and regulatory inspections
- Follow all safety protocols and good manufacturing practices (GMP)
Required Qualifications
- Understanding of laboratory techniques and analytical methods
- Experience with laboratory equipment and instrumentation
- Knowledge of quality control procedures and documentation
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain required state badges/permits for cannabis industry work / Background Check -$75.00 / Fingerprint - $43.00
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in pharmaceutical, botanical, or cannabis laboratory
- Familiarity with state cannabis regulations and compliance requirements
- Background in extraction technologies
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
- Manual dexterity for operating laboratory equipment
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
Work Environment
- Laboratory setting with exposure to chemicals and cannabis materials
- Climate-controlled environment
- May require working with solvents and other processing chemicals
- Must comply with all safety regulations and protocols

Schedule
- Full-time position
- Monday - Thursday 7AM to 5:30PM
- Overtime may be required during peak production period

- Must pass background check as required by state regulations
