Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Warehouse Lead to oversee daily warehouse operations, ensure inventory accuracy, and lead a team of warehouse material handler associates. This pivotal role involves managing distribution processes, implementing process improvements, and maintaining safety standards to support our commitment to excellence.
Duties
- Supervise daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and materials handling
- Lead and motivate a team of warehouse staff to achieve daily operational goals with enthusiasm and efficiency
- Oversee inventory control using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ensure accuracy
- Coordinate warehouse distribution activities, ensuring timely kitting fulfillment for production
- Oversee daily shipping & receiving operations, including 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) partnerships and logistics coordination
Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse management or as a warehouse supervisor with strong leadership skills
- Extensive knowledge of inventory management, materials handling, and logistics operations
- Hands-on experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), AS400 systems, RF scanners, and mechanical knowledge
- Ability to operate forklifts safely; forklift certification a plus
- Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations and heavy lifting protocols
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills to lead teams effectively and coordinate with various departments
