Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented NOC Med Tech to join our healthcare team, providing vital support in monitoring and managing patient care across various settings. Responsibilities
- Monitor patient status using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of vital signs, medication administration, and medical records.
- Assist in the collection of vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates, following proper procedures and safety protocols.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient information and ensuring confidentiality at all times.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care plans for individuals in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care settings.
- Assist with medical documentation related to hospice care, dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, memory care, and other senior care services.
- Support medical office operations by managing medical records, updating patient files, and ensuring accurate recordkeeping using EMR/EHR systems.
Requirements
- Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or home & community care environments.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic nursing procedures such as medication administration and catheter care.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Epic or Cerner; experience in medical documentation is preferred.
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments that require attention to detail and proactive communication.
- Excellent caregiving skills with a compassionate approach toward patients across various age groups and health conditions.

Pay: $18.50 - $23.50 per hour
