Job Summary
Global Engineering is seeking a skilled, dependable, and detail-oriented CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC milling machines to produce high-quality precision components. This position requires the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, perform precise measurements, and make program adjustments to ensure parts meet all specifications.

Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machining equipment including mills, machining tools to produce precision metal parts.
- Perform machine setup, calibration, and tooling changes to ensure optimal operation.
- Conduct quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, coordinate measuring machines, and other precision measurement instruments to verify part dimensions against specifications.
- Read and interpret mechanical blueprints, GD&T symbols, and technical drawings for accurate production runs.
- Troubleshoot machine issues, perform basic maintenance, and ensure machines operate efficiently with minimal downtime.
- Maintain documentation of work performed and inspect parts for conformance to quality standards; perform CNC quality inspections regularly.
- Assist in continuous improvement initiatives such as lean manufacturing practices and process optimization.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all machining operations; operate power tools and hand tools safely.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of CNC machining experience preferred.
- Experience operating CNC milling machines in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with Fanuc, Mazak, and Haas CNC controls.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings.
- Working knowledge of G-code and M-code programming.
