Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and professional Violin Instructor to teach private lessons. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about music education, able to communicate effectively with students of all ages, and committed to fostering a positive learning environment. Ability to also teach beginner piano is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Teach private lessons in-studio or on occasion via Zoom.
- Provide feedback and guidance to students and parents to support musical progress.
- Adapt lesson plans to meet individual student needs and interests.
- Maintain a professional and engaging teaching environment.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of technique, music theory, and teaching methodologies.
- Ability to effectively communicate music concepts to students of various skill levels.
- Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
- Comfortable working with both children and adults.
- At least one year of teaching experience (preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree in music or related field (preferred but not required).
- Ability to pass a background check.
