Western Montana is Rapidly Growing and looking to expand our Team we are looking for a Full Time Residential Roofing Estimator. The ideal candidate for this role is an individual with a strong background in Customer Service, Computer Literacy, and functional Math Skills who can stay organized and maintain a strong line of communication with our customers. In this role you will be responsible for Reviewing Customer Files, Creating Defect Reports based off of the Inspectors photo report, Creating detailed estimates inside of our CRM for 20+ products including Roofing, Repairs, Metal Roofing, Gutters, Siding, Windows and Doors. Once estimates are written and sent you will also be responsible for Customer Follow up via phone calls, text messages and emails until the job is approved and moved forward to production.
Duties
- Review photo reports from the inspection, mark up PDFs to call out defects
- Create Roofing Estimates using our CRM including: Asphalt Shingles, Metal Roofing, Wood Shake, Designer Shingles, and Siding - Occasionally windows and doors, or flat roofing projects.
- Review Measurement Reports of the roof and translate those measurements into materials.
- Ability to read blueprints and job specifications preferred but not required
- Manage estimates for all inbound leads - average 25-40 per week
- Manage existing customers with diligent follow ups, upsales, and customer service for any future needs
- Utilize Acculynx tools for tracking leads, managing prospect pipelines, and analyzing sales performance metrics.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop territory-specific campaigns that boost lead generation and brand awareness based on customer and estimating feedback
- Help with Production and Job management on a as needed basis
Skills
- Proven experience in construction estimating with roofing estimating preferred but not required
- Excellent negotiation skills combined with a customer-focused approach to foster long-term relationships.
- Effective communication skills for explaining estimates and deficiencies to customers via phone, email, or text message
- Strong math computation skills, Computer literacy skills, and ability to quickly learn new product sku’s and uses.
- Knowledge of Residential Roofing or Construction is preferred but not required for this role.
You Must:
- Maintain an organized pipeline or 100-300 customers at any given time - Prioritizing follow ups, and closing jobs.
- Work from a desk for 8 Hours per day
- Identify defects or damages on roofing systems and properly communicate resolutions to customers
- Have a positive attitude, be a team player and be HIGHLY organized in order to maintain your sales pipe line
- Training will be provided - for this training you must be comfortable climbing a ladder and walking on a roof in order to learn and understand roofing components and how they are built.
Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
