Job Title: Assistant Property Manager, IndustrialPosition Overview
Urban Genesis is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager, Industrial to support the daily operations of our industrial properties. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, responsive, enjoys working with tenants and vendors, and can balance on-site property responsibilities with office-based administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular on-site property inspections and address tenant needs.
- Coordinate property maintenance, repairs, service requests, and vendor work.
- Support leasing activities, renewals, tenant move-ins, and tenant move-outs.
- Maintain positive relationships with tenants, vendors, and internal team members.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including reporting, budgeting, invoices, compliance, and recordkeeping.
- Ensure properties are maintained to company standards and meet safety and compliance requirements.
- Help monitor tenant insurance, lease requirements, and property documentation.
- Communicate property updates, issues, and follow-up items clearly and promptly.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in property management, commercial real estate, or a related field preferred.
- Industrial or commercial property management experience is a plus.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to balance field work with office-based responsibilities.
- Detail-oriented, dependable, and able to follow through on tasks.
- Comfortable working with tenants, vendors, and team members in a professional manner.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; property management software experience preferred.
