Position Summary
RxHere is seeking an experienced, highly motivated Pharmaceutical Sales Manager to expand our network of healthcare providers, clinics and strategic partners.
This is a hands-on leadership position for a proven sales professional who can generate new business while recruiting, training and managing a team of pharmaceutical sales representatives. The ideal candidate understands consultative healthcare sales, provider relationship management and the compliance requirements applicable to a patient-specific 503A compounding pharmacy.
RxHere provides sterile and non-sterile compounded medications pursuant to valid patient-specific prescriptions. The Pharmaceutical Sales Manager will communicate the pharmacy’s capabilities, service model and approved offerings to licensed healthcare professionals while ensuring all sales activity remains ethical, accurate and compliant.
Primary Responsibilities
Business Development
- Develop and execute a national or assigned-territory sales strategy.
- Identify and establish relationships with physicians, clinics, medical practices and other qualified healthcare organizations.
- Generate new accounts through prospecting, networking, professional events, referrals, telephone outreach, email and in-person meetings.
- Conduct presentations explaining the pharmacy’s sterile and non-sterile compounding capabilities, service standards and provider-support resources.
- Build relationships with decision-makers, including physicians, practice owners, medical directors, office managers and procurement or administrative leaders.
- Maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified prospects and new account opportunities.
- Guide qualified accounts through the approved onboarding process.
- Work with pharmacy leadership, compliance, operations and client-success teams to support appropriate account implementation.
- Strengthen existing relationships and identify compliant opportunities for account growth.
- Track sales activities, provider engagement, onboarding progress and account performance in the company’s CRM.
- Provide accurate pipeline forecasts and recurring sales reports to executive leadership.
Sales-Team Leadership
- Recruit, interview and recommend qualified pharmaceutical sales representatives.
- Build and manage a high-performing sales team across designated territories.
- Establish territories, prospecting expectations, activity standards and measurable performance goals.
- Develop onboarding and continuing training programs covering company services, sales processes, CRM requirements and compliance expectations.
- Train representatives on approved messaging, ethical provider outreach and consultative selling.
- Conduct regular individual and team coaching sessions.
- Participate in joint sales calls, presentations and field visits when needed.
- Monitor representative activity, lead quality, account acquisition, conversion rates and revenue performance.
- Review sales pipelines and ensure representatives maintain complete, accurate CRM documentation.
- Hold representatives accountable for performance, professionalism and compliance.
- Develop corrective action and performance-improvement plans when appropriate.
- Recommend commission structures, sales incentives and territory adjustments to executive leadership.
- Foster a professional, ethical and performance-driven sales culture.
Account Management
- Serve as a senior point of contact for high-value and strategic accounts.
- Coordinate with client-success and pharmacy operations teams to support smooth provider onboarding.
- Monitor account satisfaction, service concerns and growth opportunities.
- Escalate operational, clinical, billing or compliance concerns to the appropriate internal department.
- Ensure that sales representatives do not make promises regarding clinical outcomes, turnaround times, pricing or services that have not been approved by the company.
- Protect long-term relationships by setting accurate expectations and maintaining professional communication.
Compliance Responsibilities
The Pharmaceutical Sales Manager must ensure that all representatives operate within company policies and applicable federal and state requirements.
Responsibilities include:
- Representing RxHere as a patient-specific 503A compounding pharmacy.
- Using only company-approved presentations, pricing, formulary information and marketing materials.
- Avoiding false, misleading or unsubstantiated statements about compounded medications.
- Clearly communicating, when applicable, that compounded medications are not FDA-approved and are not reviewed by the FDA for safety, effectiveness or manufacturing quality in the same manner as approved drugs.
- Never diagnosing patients, recommending individualized treatment or providing medical advice.
- Never encouraging prescribing that is medically unnecessary or inconsistent with applicable law.
- Never representing that medications may be ordered in bulk for general office stock when patient-specific prescriptions are required.
- Never offering improper payments, gifts, rebates, inducements or anything of value in exchange for prescriptions or referrals.
- Protecting patient and provider information in accordance with HIPAA, company policy and applicable privacy requirements.
- Promptly reporting complaints, adverse events, product-quality concerns, suspected privacy incidents and compliance concerns through approved channels.
- Ensuring sales representatives complete all required compliance training.
- Cooperating with internal audits and corrective-action processes.
- Following applicable advertising, anti-kickback, privacy, telemarketing, email-marketing and state pharmacy requirements.
The Pharmaceutical Sales Manager is responsible for reinforcing these standards throughout the sales organization.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of three years of successful pharmaceutical, healthcare, medical-device, laboratory, telehealth or related sales experience.
- Demonstrated success developing provider or clinic accounts.
- Previous experience recruiting, training or managing sales representatives.
- Strong record of achieving measurable sales and revenue targets.
- Excellent leadership, coaching, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Ability to build relationships with physicians, clinic owners and healthcare executives.
- Experience using a CRM to manage leads, opportunities, accounts and sales forecasts.
- Ability to understand and communicate technical product information accurately.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organization, follow-through and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Commitment to ethical and compliant healthcare sales practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, healthcare, life sciences or a related discipline.
- Five or more years of pharmaceutical or healthcare sales experience.
- Experience in sterile or non-sterile compounding pharmacy sales.
- Existing relationships with medical practices, wellness clinics, specialty providers or healthcare organizations.
- Experience managing a commission-based sales organization.
- Experience developing territories, compensation plans and sales-performance dashboards.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or a comparable CRM.
- Understanding of 503A compounding, patient-specific prescription requirements and pharmacy compliance.
- Experience selling to specialties such as primary care, endocrinology, women’s health, men’s health, urology, dermatology, functional medicine or appropriately licensed wellness practices.

All sales credit and commissions remain subject to the company’s written compensation plan, account attribution rules, payment status, cancellations, refunds, chargebacks and compliance requirements.
Compensation
This position offers a competitive, performance-based commission opportunity designed to reward both individual production and sales-team leadership.
The compensation plan may include:
- Commission on personally originated and qualified accounts
- Leadership override on eligible sales generated by assigned representatives
- Performance bonuses tied to team growth, account activation, retention and collected revenue

The final compensation structure, commission eligibility, payment timing, account ownership, post-termination treatment and chargeback provisions will be documented in a separate written compensation agreement.
