Systems Integration Analyst

Position Summary
We are seeking a Systems Integration Analyst to support the stability, connectivity, and reliable operation of our enterprise business applications. This role is responsible for ensuring applications, vendors, and data platforms work seamlessly together to support day-to-day business operations.
The ideal candidate has experience with application support, systems integration, automation, APIs, and light scripting or development. This position is best suited for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, improving processes, collaborating with vendors, and building automation that increases operational efficiency.
What You'll Do
Application Support & System Stability
- Serve as a primary point of contact for application support and issue resolution.
- Troubleshoot application and integration issues across multiple business systems.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors to resolve technical issues and maintain system functionality.
- Monitor system performance, logs, alerts, and application health.
- Support software upgrades, patches, releases, and production deployments.
- Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and validate system changes.
- Identify opportunities to improve stability and reduce manual processes.
Systems Integration & Automation
- Develop and maintain scripts, automation workflows, and lightweight applications.
- Support integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, JSON/XML, file transfers, and vendor-managed interfaces.
- Build and maintain automation that improves operational efficiency.
- Enhance existing integrations and web-based components.
- Document integration workflows, interfaces, and system dependencies.
- Assist with API troubleshooting and data exchange between enterprise applications.
Data & Reporting Support
- Extract and deliver data to support Business Intelligence reporting.
- Validate data accuracy and consistency.
- Troubleshoot data flow and integration issues between applications and reporting platforms.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
- 3–5+ years of experience in application support, systems integration, or a related IT role.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills with both technical and business users.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced support environment.
- Experience working with third-party software vendors.
Technical Skills
Scripting & Development
Experience with one or more of the following:
- JavaScript
- Python
- PowerShell
- Similar scripting or programming languages
Understanding of:
- Software development best practices
- Clean, maintainable, well-structured code
Integration Technologies
Experience with:
- REST and SOAP APIs
- JSON and XML
- File-based data exchanges
- Application integrations
- Automation workflows
Monitoring & Testing
Experience with:
- Application logs
- Error tracking
- Operational monitoring tools
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- System validation and release testing
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with:
- Core banking or financial services applications
- Vendor-hosted or SaaS platforms
- Enterprise application support
- System integrations
- Automation tools

Experience with Jack Henry Symitar, including:
