Allied Aviation is taking applications for Aircraft Refueler/ Fuel Truck Operator
Job description: Truck Driver / Aircraft Fueler
As a member of our fueling team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient fueling/defueling/servicing of all types of aircraft with a 5k, 7k, and 10k gallon fuel trucks. You will communicate with operations, flight crew personnel, and other ground personnel concerning fuel loads and arrival/departure information. You will also be responsible for generating fuel tickets and other paperwork in accordance with company and airline procedures. You must arrive to work on time, and be ready at your assigned post to ensure prompt servicing of the aircraft for on time departures. Paying attention to safety, being detail orientated, reliable, and flexible are all key contributing factors for a successful operation.
Job requirements:
- Must be 18 or older
- Valid driver’s license
- Pass and maintain a clean drug screening
- Lift up to 50 pounds overhead
- Bend, sit, stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to work year-round
- Work in an outdoor environment in all weather conditions
- Pass a federal background check
- Possess a strong understanding of basic mathematics
- High school diploma or GED
Compensation:
- Starting pay $17/hr.
