We’re seeking a detail-oriented Invoicing and Revenue Accountant to own the day-to-day invoicing process and manage monthly revenue recognition. Reporting to the Director of Accounting and Finance, this role is critical to maintain healthy cash flow by ensuring accurate and timely billing to clients. This person will work closely with project managers, field teams and other operational team members to translate project activity into financial data by owning the month end revenue recognition and accrual process.

Full-Cycle Invoicing & Collections
· Preparing and issuing client invoices in accordance with contract and customer terms, work orders and completed scopes of work.
· Actively manage the AR Aging and collections to ensure steady cash flow
· Collaborate with project managers and field teams on invoicing and project inquiries
· Support estimating and bidding process
· Maintain positive working relationships with existing and prospective clients and vendors
Revenue Recognition
· Own the month end revenue recognition and accrual processes, accurately applying the percent complete and other rev rec methodologies across active construction projects.
General Accounting Support
· Assist with subcontractor management and invoice tracking
· Maintain organized documentation to support annual review/audits and process documentation
· Identify inefficiencies and assist with process improvement and automation
· Complete SOPs and process documents and update as needed
· Ad hoc or other special projects as needed
Qualifications
· 2-4 years of accounting experience, ideally with high transaction volume in construction or another project-based industry.
· Experience with Quickbooks Online Advanced or other ERP/Accounting software
· Strong excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups, large data sets)
· High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
· Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Comfortable working independently when ramped up
Preferred Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
· Experience/knowledge of construction industry / prevailing wage
· Knowledge of A.I. and automation tools

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
