Job Overview
The individual is responsible for on-site accounts payable, under the direction of the Senior Accountant and CFO.
Accounts payable duties in this operation include:
- Accounts Payable data entry for multiple entities;
- Ensuring correct coding of all invoices and payments;
- Matching invoices, receiving documents, and purchase orders to verify authorization;
- Processing weekly check runs and interim checks, as needed;
- Maintaining vendor files for multiple legal entities;
- Reconciling vendor statements and correcting discrepancies as necessary;
- Acting as a control point between operations and financial reporting;
- Responding to vendor inquiries;
- Completing vendor credit applications for submission to new vendors;
- Timely audit, verification, and recording of credit card activity;
- Timely verification and recording of expense reimbursements;
- Other duties as needed.
The successful candidate will communicate effectively and efficiently. He or she will also adapt well to changing requirements and conditions in a fast paced farming environment.
Minimum of 3 years experience in similar position and accounting education (beyond high school) required.
Competitive compensation commensurate with experience. This position reports to a Senior Accountant.

Pay: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour
