Hart’s Turkey Farm Restaurant, a third-generation, family owned and operated restaurant and caterer, located in the heart of the Lakes Region of New Hampshire, is looking for a qualified Prep Cook to join our family. This position has Full-Time or Part-Time openings for Year Round or Seasonal opportunities.
Job Description:
The ideal candidate will be a Prep Cook comfortable in a kitchen setting, have some knowledge of standard kitchen equipment and tools, display basic kitchen and knife skills, and be able to prepare food to exact specifications following Hart's recipes. We are a scratch production kitchen with years of tradition and success. Experience is not necessary, we will train the right candidate with a willingness and enthusiasm to learn. We look for positive, energetic, motivated, reliable, and loyal team players. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our guest satisfaction and goals as a restaurant.
Competitive hourly wage based on experience with benefits available for full time employees.

- Shifts typically run 7am-1pm, but can vary depending on the business of the restaurant
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Preparing, slicing, chopping, cutting, and mixing foods for use in the restaurant
- Following recipes to exact specifications for consistent production
- Cleaning, sanitizing, and maintenance of kitchen prep stations and equipment
- Some general building and grounds maintenance may be requested seasonally
- Must be able to work and complete tasks independently and as part of the team
- Some dishwashing required
- ServSafe Certified or ready to become certified upon hire
