American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Case Manager for a day shift position at an acute care hospital in Irvine, CA, requiring a valid CA RN license and Cerner experience.

Case Management unit within an acute care hospital setting

Day shift schedule: Tuesday through Saturday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (5x8-hour shifts)

Some scheduling flexibility may be requested
-
No blocked scheduling or self-scheduling allowed
-
13-week contract

Active CA RN license, valid and in hand at time of consideration

Minimum of 2 years of RN Case Management experience required

At least 1 year of acute care experience required

Specialty experience must be within the 2 years preceding consideration

Cerner EMR experience required

Must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam (up to 3 attempts)

At least one supervisory, director, or manager reference from within the past year, from the relevant unit
-
A second reference within the past 2 years (may be from a charge nurse, co-worker, or educator)

Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained

Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers — no radius restriction applies
-
No RTO (requested time off) permitted within the first 2 weeks of the assignment

All time-off requests must be submitted at the start of the assignment and cannot be changed after submission

Candidates who were previously employed by this health system must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler, and may require additional approval
