Job Description
Shriners Children's Ohio has an opportunity for a part-time Clinical Transformation Specialist. Join a team of professionals committed to improving children's lives. Hours: This part-time position is 40 hours bi-weekly.
Key Responsibilities:
The Clinical Transformation Specialist serves as the primary resource for providing advanced clinical integration support at the local level.
Provides ongoing user education and informatics support for various teams, committees and informatics projects throughout the facility.
This position assists in providing facility vision and direction for implementations, workflow design, data management and related duties to support Shriners Hospitals for Children Mission and Vision.
Supports the Clinical Analyst with development, delivery, communication and evaluation of staff education related to clinical systems.
Coaches, mentors, and provides support for members of the clinical team in gaining and maintaining competency in use of clinical information and communication systems.
Develops and performs competency assessments related to clinician use of information systems; documents findings; designs and delivers targeted remediation training as necessary.
Facilitates and or participates in interdisciplinary teams to identify clinical systems improvements.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in Nursing, Health Informatics or related field
Minimum of three years’ experience in clinical informatics
One year EMR (electronic medical record) experience, EPIC and Cerner experience preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
The pay range for this position is $89,024.00 - $133,536.00. Compensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity.
