We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Service Representative with working knowledge of payroll processes. In this role, you will assist customers with inquiries, resolve issues, and provide support related to payroll, billing, and account management. The ideal candidate combines strong communication skills with an understanding of payroll systems and procedures.
Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a timely and professional manner
Provide support on payroll-related questions, including paychecks, deductions, taxes, and timesheets
Assist customers in resolving discrepancies in payroll records and payments
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions
Collaborate with payroll and HR teams to ensure accurate and timely issue resolution
Educate customers on company policies, payroll procedures, and self-service tools
Process account updates and verify sensitive information securely
Escalate complex issues to appropriate departments when necessary
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred)
1–3 years of customer service experience
Basic knowledge of payroll processes (e.g., wage calculations, tax withholdings, direct deposit)
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and customer service software
Experience with payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Paychex, or similar platforms)
Familiarity with labor laws and payroll compliance regulations
Experience in a call center or support environment
