We are seeking a Project Engineer to support planning, design, and delivery of mechanical, HVAC, and infrastructure projects across commercial, industrial, and mission-critical facilities (including water and data center environments). The role focuses on coordinating engineering design, construction management, and technical compliance to deliver safe, on-time, and on-budget projects. The ideal candidate has hands-on mechanical engineering experience, familiarity with civil and construction disciplines, and experience with commercial and industrial building systems.

Manage project schedules, identify critical path items, and drive corrective actions to meet milestones and delivery dates.
-
Collaborate with clients, architects, contractors, and consulting engineers to clarify scope, resolve design conflicts, and maintain strong client relationships.
-
Ensure quality control through commissioning support, system testing, punch-list closure, and adherence to performance requirements, particularly for mission-critical and water system applications.
-
Apply engineering analysis to troubleshoot operational problems, optimize system performance, and recommend design or operational improvements.
-
Support health, safety, and environmental compliance on project sites and in design documentation.
-
Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with subcontractors and specialty vendors to secure materials and technical expertise.
Qualifications
-
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
-
3+ years of project engineering or construction engineering experience; experience with commercial, industrial, mission-critical, water, or data center projects preferred.
-
Hands-on experience with mechanical systems and HVAC design, including familiarity with equipment selection, ductwork, piping, pumps, and controls.
-
Working knowledge of construction management processes: submittals, RFIs, change orders, scheduling, and site coordination.
-
Proficiency with engineering tools and software (e.g., AutoCAD/Revit, mechanical analysis tools, MS Project, Excel).
-
Strong technical writing, documentation, and drawing review skills.
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and interact with clients.
